The first macedonian mobile operator Mobimak, starting from next week is officially under the brand T-mobile. T-mobile is spread in over 35 countries and has over 90 million users.

Macedonia currently has two mobile operators, Cosmofon being the other. One of the priorities in the platform of the political alliance that won this year's elections was to allow other mobile operators to invest in Republic of Macedonia. If implemented, this strategy might allow for better telecommunication services at more competitive prices.

What's really cool about this rebranding of our mobile operator is that T-mobile will organize a free happening at the Skopje's City Square "Macedonia", with Pet Shop Boys being the stars of the night. The Pet Shop Boys concert starts at 9 PM on September 7^th 2006. Be there!
